Free To Choose Network presents – a blog contest centered on our newest production, The Power of the Poor featuring Hernando de Soto.
  • The Power of the Poor explores the role property rights and legal institutions can play in economic development, as well as how global capitalism can help the world’s poor. The blog contest is designed to explore these ideas, as well.

  • The contest will run from September 10, 2009 through October 1, 2009.  The winner will be announced on the contest page on October 8.

and achieve prosperity?”

  • Rules and Eligibility:
1. You must have a blog or write for a group blog.
2. You must embed the following preview clip from The Power of the Poor.
3. You must include the title and air date of the program in your blog post: The Power of the Poor airs October 8, 10 PM ET (or check your local listings) on PBS.  
4. E-mail your blog post URL to blogcontest@freetochoosemedia.org along with your complete name and preferred e-mail contact. 
5. 500 word limit.
